To be considered for the Young Scientist Award, the first author of the paper must be a full time student, or must have been a full time student at most two years before the submission deadline. To be eligible for student registration and student membership of MICCAI, you have to have been a full time student at the time of the paper submission deadline. To confirm the student status, a support letter from an advisor must be submitted as supplementary material by the paper submission deadline.
Here we provide a template for the text of the letter. Please feel free to modify as appropriate.
Dear MICCAI 2016 Chairs,
I am writing to confirm that [insert student's name here] is a full time student at [insert university name] and is working under my supervision.
For students who completed their degree prior to the submission deadline, the template may be modified as follows:
Dear MICCAI 2016 Chairs,
